Caught in the surrealism of the tragedy, Beirut is reeling after the August 4 explosion that shocked nations around the world.

Famed Lebanese designer Elie Saab just unveiled a new collection that he dedicated to the beautiful and tragic city.

A little over a month later, the renowned designer revealed his latest haute couture collection, an exclusive collection: “Beirut, The Sacred Source.”

The Source, as the fashion house puts it, is the “life force that allows Beirut to triumph over and over again.”

Whimsical embellished gowns, sequins, feathers, and sheer fabrics; the collection is delicate and dreamy yet powerful and impactful.

Saab was among many Lebanese designers who were impacted by the devastating blast. His home in Gemmayze was badly destroyed.

To actively give back to the beloved city, Saab has stood behind a fundraiser by Impact Lebanon to provide much-needed disaster relief.
