Among the world’s most prominent fashion designers are Lebanese. Their talent, creativity, and ingenuity have made them shining stars in the fashion industry. Every fashion season, they bring in new trends and technics, contributing to the beauty and elegance in the world.
It is not surprising. The Lebanese people are known for their aesthetic creativity and their fashion trendiness.
Walking in the footsteps of these famous designers is a new name from Beirut: Aboud Jammal. a young designer from Beirut whose interest in fashion grew at an early age and he worked on his fashion skills to become the designer he is today.
In 2012, Jammal enrolled at ESMOD International Fashion University in Paris where he had an opportunity to intern with the prestigious Lebanese fashion brand, Zuhair Murad.
He graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design and went to participate in the Beirut Young Fashion Designer Competition. His ravishing designs earned him the first-place trophy.
By 2016, Jammal had his first breakthrough in the fashion world when he presented his Fall-Winter collection at the international “Festival de la Mode à Tunis.”
That same year, Jammal presented his prêt-à-porter collection “The Rise of Venus” for Spring and Summer 2017 at the Beirut Fashion Week, which bought him success locally and abroad.
He officially founded that year his Maison DU couture (2016) and went on to launch numerous capsule collections.
In 2020, his Fashion House joined prominent designers on the catwalk of Paris Fashion Week where he showcased his LUMINESCENT Couture collection.
The Lebanese fashion designer continues to look for more to thrive further.
He is now pursuing craftsmanship, creating luxury designs infused with tradition and modernity; two main features of Lebanese women.
Aboud Jammal expresses through his website that his atelier “celebrates the essential relationship between thread and fabric that leads to creative expression in the art of fashion. The handmade embroidery is masterfully created with the most exquisite and avant-garde materials”.
Evolving his brand further, his Fashion House just launched its first collection of bags, shoes, and accessories, which he presented with his Spectrum Fall-Winter 22-23 collection at the Arab Fashion Week in Dubai.
