“Enough! Lebanon’s Darkest Hour” Just Won An Award At The Toronto Independent Film Festival

The documentary, Enough! Lebanon’s Darkest Hour has won the “Best Script Long Feature Film” at the Toronto Independent Film Festival of CIFT.

“So proud of what this film continues to accomplish in the name of Lebanon. We will never be silent until the dignity of the people and their rights are restored,” stated the award-winning Lebanese-Australian director Daizy Gedeon via her Instagram account.

Enough! Lebanon’s Darkest Hour focuses on the many issues of corruption, funds embezzlement, and post-civil war politics that are shaping the country.

The documentary is produced by Patrick Rohr and features special appearances from Lebanese and foreign guests, including Elie Saab, Tom Fletcher, Frances Guy, George Khabbaz, Dr. James Zogby, and more.

It has won numerous awards so far, including at the Wisdom Tree International Film Festival, the Cannes International Film Festival, and the Vesuvius International Film Fest.

Daizy Gedeon’s documentary was also selected for the Toronto International Women’s Film Festival and Beverly Hills Film Festival, among others.
