The Lebanese actress Nadine Njeim has recently won the Best Arab Actress 2019 award at the 10th Arab Satellite Awards for her role in Ramadan series "Five Thirty" Khamse w Noss after she was chosen by public vote and a panel of senior critics
Nadine received her award in the presence of a group of Egyptian and Arab artists and stars during a ceremony held on the evening of September 13 in Cairo under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture.
ِAfter announcing the award, Njeim received hundreds of congratulation tweets and comments on her official social media account, many of which she retweeted herself expressing her pride to be Lebanese.
Nadine Nassib Njeim was elected Miss Lebanon in 2004 and moved right after into pursuing a career in acting. She has been cast in various leading roles for different leading TV series such as Law and Cello, Samra, Eshk Al Nesa, Nos Yawm, Alhayba, Tareeq, and Khamse w Noss.
Her acting role in Samra earned her to be the first Arab actress nominated to Seoul International Festival for the title of best actress, reaching the final stage with a Russian actress.
Her latest series Khamse w Noss, which was screened in Ramadan, is a Lebanese Syrian tale of romance, drama, and betrayal featuring her with Syrian Star Actors Kosai Khawli and Mo'otasem Al Nahar. It centers on a love triangle between a successful doctor, her politician husband, and his bodyguard.
Njeim was also the first Arab actress that had her series dubbed and filmed in more than 20 countries outside the Arab world and the first to be handled in non-Arab magazines.
It is worth mentioning that the young Lebanese presenter Mohammed Qais also received the award for excellence in media as the best Lebanese media at the 10th Arab Sat Festival 2019 held in Cairo.
