Thousands Flew to Lebanon for the Wedding of Elie Saab's Son

You can basically call the wedding of Elie Saab's son a Lebanese Royal Wedding!

Lebanon has so many important figures in the world who are Lebanese natives or descents. Elie Saab is among them, this native of Lebanon whose name shines bright in the international world of fashion, the king of Haute Couture who is highly sought by the world's VIPs and celebrities for his outstanding designs.

It is known that Elie Saab's wedding gowns make the brides feel like princesses on their wedding days. So what would it be then when the bride is none other than his son's future wife? That becomes really personal and only the best of his best materializes. That's what we've seen recently in the wedding of his own son Elie Saab Jr. and his bride Christina Mourad.

The wedding celebration was held in various locations around Beirut, and extended to 3 full days, becoming the talk of the town until now, and for a good reason. Elie Saab is known for making every bride he designs for feels like a princess on her special day.

Hence, it was only normal for everyone to wait for the most anticipated wedding dress of the season to see his creativity on that day that was personally special for him.

The bride Christina, also known as Kika, wore not one but two breathtaking gowns designed especially for her by Elie. She appeared like a princess out of a fairytale, both at the religious ceremony in the Maronite Head Church of Bkerke (Kessrwan) and at the celebration event.

The event itself was in fact multiple. It was held in various places, predominantly in the mountains, including the exclusive Faqra Club and the eco-village Le Plateau de Bakish.

From white and embroidered at the Church ceremony to golden glory at the celebrations, the gowns of the bride were striking in beauty, elegance, fanciness, and creativity.  The bride was certainly glowing like a golden goddess in her second gown, which she wore with effortless grace despite its heavy appearance.

Unlike many famous Lebanese who held their weddings abroad, Elie Saab made it a point to celebrate his son's in Lebanon, inviting over many prominent fashion figures who flew over for the ceremony.

International figures attended, such as Roberto Cavalli, Amina Muaddi, Dita Von Teese, Sara Sampaio, Karolina Kurkova, Xenia Donts, and a lot more; all mingling in celebration with important Lebanese politicians and figures, such as Saad Hariri, Tony Frangieh, Haifa Wehbe, Assi El Hallani, Elissa, and Nancy Ajram, among others.

The 3-day celebration begun with the pre-wedding party under the theme of Arabian Nights and ended with an extravagant wedding party in Faqra Club on the third night. Once again, with Elie Saab, it is "either go big or go home!" The event was nothing less than what was expected of the famous Lebanese designer.

With 3,000 guests attending the 3-day wedding, from Lebanon and abroad, one owes to consider the economic activity of no little significance that occurred during that week. Moreover, the foreign guests went posting on social media photos of their stay to their network overseas, indirectly yet openly promoting tourism in Lebanon.
