In a first team-up endeavor of its kind for Maison Rabih Kayrouz, the Lebanese designer has allied with the French brand Eres to create a new summer wear collection.
The iconic swimwear Eres, which is owned by the Chanel Group, will produce the swimsuits for this collection while Rabih Keyrouz will design the ready-to-go part.
The exclusive collection will be composed of 10 styles: two swimsuits, two bikinis, and six ready-to-go summer pieces, with prices ranging from $242 to $716 per piece.
They will be available as of March 21th on the websites of Eres and Maison Rabih Kayrouz and in some selected boutiques around Europe and the Middle East.
The Lebanese designer Rabih Kayrouz left Beirut at a young age, fleeing the civil war, and settled in Paris.
He has stayed attached to his origins and Lebanese lifestyle and culture from which he gets inspired in the creation of each of his collections.
He told the Women’s Wear Daily (WWD) magazine that the collection he is now doing with Eres is meant to evoke “the great and beautiful years of Beirut” of his memories.
