The Municipality of Beirut is organizing an event called “Zikrayat Beirut” to step back in time! On March 18 from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m., Nejmeh Square will turn into a time machine where you can find Beirut’s icons:
- Antique store: Diwan Ammar
- Sweet shops: Hilwayat al Daouk, Hilwayat Safsouf, and Hilwayat Makari & Sharkawi.
- Restaurants: Falafel Sahyoun and Mat3am Al Soussi
- Bakery: Afran El Chami
- Artisan store: Beit el Mouhtarif
