Expat Ballot Boxes From France & Qatar For South III Were Reportedly Canceled

According to the state-run National News Agency (NNA), a judicial ruling has canceled the ballot boxes of the diaspora in France and Qatar for South III.

Both boxes were predicted to contain votes for the opposition list “Together Towards Change”. These boxes were supposed to ensure the 2nd quotient for this list and specifically for Firas Hamdan.

Firas Hamdan is competing for the seat against the Hezballah-backed Marwan Khaireddine, a previous minister of state and currently the CEO of Mawared Bank.
