In light of a video circulating online, rumors have been swirling that the Duty Free at Beirut International Airport was emptied as a precautionary measure due to the escalating tensions between Hezbollah and Israel on the Lebanon border.
961 News spoke directly to the Manager of Duty Free, who unequivocally stated that these claims are false.
“The video in question is an old one, taken at the time we were renovating the Duty Free area. Everything is operating as usual,” he added.
