Matthew Miller, a spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State, has confirmed that the United States remains committed to the mission of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) in South Lebanon.
Miller stated that he is not aware of any plans to withdraw UNIFIL forces from the region.
