Sports media and fans have been questioning and overanalyzing the recent posts and stories of the retired professional basketball player Fadi El Khatib and his previous colleagues in the Sagesse club team.
El Khatib, 43, one of Lebanon’s legendary basketball players, retired from the Lebanese national team in 2020 after 23 years of playing with Lebanese teams.
However, recent posts from him and his Sagesse colleagues have been hinting at El Khatib’s possibility of joining the Sagesse Club again.
On August 5th, Jad Mbarak posted a selfie with Fadi El Khatib, Roy Hajj (Sports Digital Media on MTV), Joe Ghattas (Sagesse Basketball Coach), Ghayath Dibra (Sports Presenter on MTV), and Elias Sebaaly (Professional Basketball Player in Sagesse).
Comments from close people to both El Khatib and the Sagesse team have been teasing that they know something that fans don’t.
Fans have already assumed that Fadi El Khatib will be revealing his news about joining the Sagesse Basketball team.
El Khatib further accentuated Basketball fans’ doubts by posting a selfie with Elie Mchantaf (former teammate and Sagesse team captain) via his Instagram story with ‘loading’ GIFs and an anonymous “Wait for it”.
Basketball fans have sparked the media with happy reviews regarding this news and have already shown major support to the former basketball player.
El Khatib himself, however, did not confirm nor deny what he and the Sagesse team have been working on.
