Three people of the same family were killed during a shooting on Wednesday in Kabiit town in Akkar, the most northern governorate of Lebanon.
During the burial on Friday, the family of the victims stated that they would “take matters into their own hands,” if the security officials didn’t take action and arrest the perpetrators immediately.
The shooting broke out over a disagreement over a piece of land, which is allegedly only “a few meters” in size.
The dispute concerned the construction of a hall next to the ‘al-Rabieh’ hall, owned by the family. The three people killed were the owner of the hall venue, his wife, and his son.
