After victoriously winning the UEFA Champions League, Bayern Munich stepped up to help Beirut get back on its feet after the devastating explosion shattered the capital city.

FC Bayern Hilfe e.V. has allocated a donation of 200,000 Euros of their win to disaster relief in Beirut. The donation was made through Orienthelfer, an NGO whose office was also affected by the blast.

Orienthelfer is currently collecting donations and working on the ground to help victims of the Beirut explosion.

The ‘Champions of Europe’ also paid tribute to one of its biggest fans, Ralph Mellehe, one of the brave Lebanese firefighters who tragically lost their lives when they rushed to extinguish the fire of the Hangar 12 in Beirut Port.
