Massive dark clouds of black smoke were seen rising over Beirut today as a fire erupted in the Dekwaneh suburb north of the capital city on Tuesday afternoon.
Its cause what not immediately known.
The fire reportedly broke out in a transmitter pole as a result of a gas leak from a generator, according to journalist Adel Samia.
The civil defense was able to quickly control the fire.
After the Beirut explosion on Tuesday, August 4th, a dark pattern of smaller weekly disasters have left the city expecting the worst, strangely, every Tuesday.
