On Tuesday, another fire erupted at a different point in Roumieh forest, on the Metn Expressway, a day after the first fire.
The Lebanese Civil Defense tweeted that “7 firefighting centers sent their teams to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading despite the difficulty of reaching the source of the fire due to heavy obstacles.”

Kataeb MP Elias Hankach deemed the first fire a deliberate act after the inspection of the site.
