On Tuesday evening, another fire erupted in Beirut Port silos.
The previous fire that flared up last Thursday was reportedly caused by the fermentation of the wheat inside the silos and high temperatures.
According to local news, residents around the port noticed smoke since Monday and there were failed attempts to put out the fire.
Lebanon has been witnessing a rise in fire breakouts with one that erupted in a carpet factory in South Lebanon last Friday and another that broke out in Roumieh forest on Monday and erupted again on Tuesday at a different spot.
