Former Lebanese MP Pulled Out His Gun After A Bread Dispute (Video)

Nahar Net

On Friday, July 29th, former MP Hikmat Dib, of the Free Patriotic Movement (FPM), was seen on CCTV cameras pulling out his gun outside a bakery.

Reports claimed that while Dib was buying bread, he objected to a Syrian man receiving one bag of bread instead of two.

Video footage showed Dib having an argument with an employee before grabbing a wooden object and throwing it at her.

Dib allegedly did this because the employee accused his party, the Free Patriotic Movement (FPM), of causing the economic crisis.

Dib then proceeded to walk out of the bakery and got into his car. Moments later he got out of his vehicle and pulled out a pistol.

Reports claimed that he was scaring away employees that followed him out of the bakery to talk to him.

Later that day, Dib wrote a tweet clarifying what went down. He claimed that what was circulating in the media was untrue and fabricated.

According to Dib, the man he was standing up to was Lebanese and not Syrian. He added that this did not sit well with the bakery owner, which led to the argument.

Dib then concluded his tweet by claiming that he pulled out his pistol to stop a group of men from attacking him.
