Former Lebanese Minister Attacked By Group Of Men After Leaving Church

Former Lebanese Minister of Economy Raoul Nehme was assaulted after leaving a church in Faraya on Sunday

The former minister revealed in a statement that after he left the Monastry of Ressurection in Charbouh, a group of men assaulted him for unknown reasons.

Nehme went to the Internal Security Forces (ISF) and filed a lawsuit against his aggressors and the security forces said that an investigation has been opened into the incident.

Nehme was appointed as Minister of Economy and Trade by former Prime Minister Hassan Diab after President Michel Aoun had nominated him.
