A fun festival for Marine and Aquatic games will take place for the first time in the northern Lebanese capital, Tripoli, hosting host several aquatic games, competitions, and challenges, including Swimming, kitesurfing, Parasailing, SUP, and Waterpolo.

The “Tripoli Mina Touristic Marine Festival” will take place on Saturday, September 3rd, at the Palm Island Nature Reserve, also known as Rabbit Island, and will also include cultural exhibitions and musical entertainment.

The event is free. However, you need to pay a small fee for the trip to Palm Island from the Mina Port, which takes about 40 minutes.

Worth noting that a massive cleanup of Rabbit Island will take place 3-days before the event to encourage environmental awareness and the preservation of the reserve’s unique and rich ecosystem.
