City Centre Beirut is offering various free services and activities on its premises that aim to support the community amid the prevailing difficulties.
Through the #TogetherWeCan campaign, the Beirut-based mall seeks to help people deal with different aspects of the ongoing crisis and its impact on their daily life.
“Our Centre Is You”
For people who work from home and have to deal with the prolonged and consistent daily blackouts, City Centre is placing its free wifi at their disposal.
Remote workers can simply carry their laptops over to the mall and save themselves the stress and stagnancy that come with power cuts.
Similarly, people who need to recharge their phones but are unable to due to the electricity situation can do so at City Centre’s Customer Service desk, on the ground floor.
Alternatively, borrowing a power bank from City Centre staff is also possible.
If you’ve decided to swing by the Customer Service desk, consider bringing clothes you don’t need along with you to donate them at the dedicated donation bin next to the desk.
Another problem that comes with power cuts is disruptions in the water supply.
To help alleviate the effects of these disruptions, City Centre’s Baré Salon and Spa is offering free hair wash from 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM every day. To reserve a spot with them, you can call 01-283284.
Yet another way the shopping mall is helping the community is screening a children’s movie, free of charge, every day at 12 PM. You can book a seat by calling 01-285582 (spaces are limited due to COVID-19 measures).
If you want to spend some fun time with your kids, City Centre invites all families to visit Magic Planet and enter the soft play area, also for free, between 11 AM and 2 PM every day except for Saturdays and Sundays. Want to book a place? Call 71720721.
