There’s A Free Lebanese Film Festival Taking Place Next Week In Beirut

MC Distribution is organizing the Lebanese Film Week in partnership with Metropolis Cinema and with the support of The Arab Fund for Art and Culture – AFAC.

The event is taking place from Monday, October 24 until Sunday, October 30, 2022, at VOX Cinemas, City Centre Beirut, and the Institut Français du Liban in Beirut, and will showcase an interesting selection of Lebanese films.

Here is the schedule:

  • Monday, October 24, 2022: Under the Concrete by Roy Arida – 7 pm
  • Tuesday, October 25, 2022: 1982 by Oualid Mouaness – 7 pm
  • Wednesday, October 26, 2022: Miguel’s War by Eliane Raheb – 7 pm
  • Thursday, October 27, 2022: We Are From There by Wissam Tanios – 7 pm
  • Friday, October 28, 2022: the State of Agitation by Elie Khalife – 7 pm
  • Saturday, October 29, 2022: Kash Kash – Without Feathers We Can’t Live by Lea Najjar – 5 pm and All This Victory by Ahmad Ghossein – 7 pm
  • Sunday, October 30, 2022: Death of a Virgin, and the Sin of not Living by George Barbari – 7 pm

The Lebanese Film Week has a free entrance policy, however, reservation is mandatory and must be completed online via this website.
