A Free Photo Exhibition In Beirut Stands As A Witness To Lebanon’s Golden Years

The Beirut Image Festival is hosting the opening of the “Witness to the Golden Years,” an exhibition by Adnan Naji starting Thursday, September 22, at 6:00 pm.

The Lebanese photographer Adnan Naji will open his archive to showcase photos of Lebanese and Arab stars from the 1960s and 1970s.

Some of these famous stars include the Lebanese musical icons Fairouz and Sabah, the Egyptian singer Umm Kulthum, the Egyptian film actress Faten Hamama, the Lebanese actor, singer, and comedian Shoushou, and other names that filled the golden era.

This free exhibition will take place at the Assafir Newspaper Building in Hamra, Beirut, and will continue daily from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm until Friday, September 30.
