LBCI

On Thursday morning, the Ministry of Energy and Water lowered the price for fuel in Lebanon, with the price of the USD still floating around LL 29,000.

The decrease follows the announcement of the Directorate General of Oil on Wednesday that it won’t release a new grid of fuel prices because its employees are holding a strike.

Opposition MP Mark Daou had called out the Directorate for not lowering the prices that day since the price of crude oil fell under $100, arguing that new grids were previously released even when the employees were on strike.

The new prices are as follows:

95-Octane Gasoline636,000 LL-29,000 LL
98-Octane Gasoline648,000 LL-28,000 LL
Diesel679,000 LL-26,000 LL
LP Gas341,000 LL
