Fuel Prices Just Increased In Lebanon For The Second Time Today

On Friday evening, the Lebanese Ministry of Energy and Water increased the fuel prices, with the rate of the USD in the black market floating around 34,500 LL after increasing mid-day to 36,000 LL.

The newest prices now, as of the time of writing, are as follows:

95-Octane Gasoline616,000 LL+13,000 LL
98-Octane Gasoline630,000 LL+13,000 LL
Diesel779,000 LL+22,000 LL
LP Gas331,000 LL

It’s noteworthy that most of the gas stations in Lebanon had closed their doors due to the sudden increase in the USD rate. Today is the second day where the Ministry of Energy and Water issued two different prices sheet for the fuel on the same day.
