On Tuesday morning, the municipality of Akkar El Aatiqa announced that it has arrested a group of 8 men that were stealing power lines.
In a statement, the municipality announced that a group of men from El Mrahat stopped the gang while they were trying to steal power lines from the El Mrahat cemetery at 2 AM.
The municipality added that all 8 members, who are from Dinniyeh and Akkar, were immediately handed over to the Internal Security Forces (ISF) as well as the stolen goods.
