In a spectacle of unwavering support for Judge Ghada Aoun, someone decided to place orders on billboards in solidarity with the controversial judge.
The signs were spotted in different parts of Beirut on traditional billboards as well as digital ones, stating “Je suis Ghada Aoun” (I am Ghada Aoun).
These billboards come in light of Judge Aoun’s recent raids, and attempted raids, on money transfer companies in Lebanon despite the fact that State Prosecutor Ghassan Oueidat has dismissed her from the cases of financial crimes.
Billboards across Lebanon were completely empty last year. The highway between Khaldeh to Byblos was entirely void of its regular crowd of billboards and advertisements, a sign of the deteriorating economic conditions.
