On the occasion of Lebanon’s Independence day, Google Doodle honored the country once again.

The Lebanese Independence Day is the national day of Lebanon, commemorating the end of the French mandate over Lebanon in 1943, after 23 years.

Google displayed the Lebanese flag flying with a sky blue background while framing the doodle with the colors of the flag, represented by red, green, and white.

Lebanese Independence Day is a holiday spent with family, friends, and especially school children, who gather every year to show their pride and joy of belonging to their country, while many cultural activities are organized to celebrate Lebanese history.

However, the Lebanese military will not organize any military parades this year due to Lebanon’s parliament’s failure to elect a new president for the sixth time.
