Also known as “Shahroura,” the Diva of the Middle East performed in over 100 films and plays. Sabah also sang more than 3,000 songs. Famous for her golden hair and garish outfits, Sabah’s career started when she was 15 years old and lasted for six decades. The Shahroura spread the Lebanese folk music not only in the Middle East but also in the West. She performed in the Carnegie Hall in the U.S.A., the Sydney Opera House in Australia, and the Piccadilly Theatre in England. She was well known for her joie de vivre which she spread to her fans!
