On October 5, 2024, Beirut will again host DevFest, one of the world’s largest and most inclusive technology conferences.
Organized by Google Developer Groups (GDG) Coast Lebanon, this event will take place at the Lebanese American University, Beirut Campus, and is set to bring together 1,200+ visitors from diverse backgrounds, including technologists, developers, students, and tech companies.
DevFest is a community-led technology conference to foster learning, networking, and collaboration among developers.
Globally, it has become a pivotal platform for developers to connect, learn, and grow, making it a central event in the tech calendar. This year marks the 12th global edition of DevFest and the 8th year it will be held in Lebanon.
The event will feature 40+ expert speakers from across Lebanon and the EMEA region, including at least three certified Google Developer Experts. It will offer a range of content across different tracks and themes, focusing on areas such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cloud Computing, Web, and Mobile Development.

- DevFest Main Auditorium: Hosting 700+ attendees for mid-to-advanced level discussions.
- DevFest on Campus: Targeting 500 attendees with beginner-friendly topics, emphasizing accessibility for students and budding developers.
- Expo and Career Fair: Showcasing new products, services, and job opportunities from major tech companies, startups, and sponsors.
The event also offers diverse session formats, such as Lightning Talks, Deep Dives, Workshops, Showcase Demos, and Panel Discussions.
This year’s DevFest will not only focus on learning but also on facilitating networking. Specially designed zones will enable participants to connect, share knowledge, and explore potential collaborations.
