Gui Khury, Lebanese on his father’s side, is an 11-year old Brazilian skateboarder who just landed a 1080-degree turn on a vertical ramp. Even the skateboarding legend Tony Hawk couldn’t do that!

Khury is the first person to complete a 1080 on a vertical ramp, and the youngest person to do the three full revolutions.

In 2012, the first person in the world to complete the feat was skateboarder Tom Schaar at 12-years old. Unlike Khury, Schaar used a mega ramp, which gave him more time to complete the turn.

While Schaar’s accomplishment is mega-impressive, the turn is much more difficult to do on a vertical ramp. Which is why Gui Khury is such a big deal in the skateboarding community!

According to Reuters, Khury was only 8-years old when he became the youngest skateboarder to complete the 900-degree turn, a feat Tony Hawk pulled off at 31 in the X Games in 1999.

“I was like, oh my God, what did I just do?” Khury said to Reuters. The young skateboarder celebrated the landing with mac and cheese! Epic fellow.
