Having learned everything he knows about dessert from his grandfather Abdul Rahman, Chef Hassan Hallab is bringing the taste of his hometown along with the family trade secrets to his Los Angeles store, Hallab Pastry USA.
Due to the pandemic, the store is momentarily based online but has plans to possibly open a storefront soon, where people can enjoy the taste of the Middle East.
Not only do the Lebanese diaspora get a taste that journeys them back to their roots, but non-Lebanese, lovers of our dessert, can experience and enjoy it too.
It gets better, the store has recently announced that it is offering nationwide delivery from California. Everyone with a sweet tooth, raise your hand!
