Heartbeat – La Chaine de l’Espoir is a Lebanese NGO that organizes a fundraising concert every year since 2005 to help children that are born with a heart disease. One percent of babies around the world are born with a heart disease. In Lebanon, that’s around 600 children every year. Heart diseases can be prevented at 95% if the child gets access to the essential funds and treatment. Unfortunately, the Lebanese government does not cover the necessary treatments fully. The families of these babies that are financially struggling and do not have life insurance find the situation challenging. In the past 13 years, Heartbeat saved over 2,800 children. The NGO is currently supporting 300 families. This year’s concert ‘A Heartbeat story’ is going to tell the story of a couple who had a beautiful child that suffers from a heart disease. Thanks to the effort of the NGO, the story ends with a happy ending. The artists performing on stage are doctors and volunteers. By attending the event, you will get the chance to enjoy a great concert while helping in keeping small hearts beat. This year’s event is going to take place on April 14 and 15 at Seaside Arena Beirut. Tickets start at $25. For more information, click
