Heavy gunfire was being reported in the Verdun area of Beirut.
It is reported that an armed clash erupted in the Aisha Bakkar area of Beirut – near the Child and Mother Care Hospital and Al-Qassar Mosque in Beirut
1 person has reported been killed and several others injured so far. State-run NNA says the reasons are unknown so far.
It is believed it is due to a dispute between generator owners in the area which has been escalating for a few days.
