Last seen on Wednesday morning, Hady Hokayem is still missing. He went to walk his dog near the river in Beit Chlela, but only his dog ended up returning home.
During an initial search, Hady’s things were found scattered around alongside a stick with blood on it and a small puddle of blood.
A search party, including police dogs and the Lebanese Civil Defense, was formed but has still not been able to locate him, according to Hady’s cousin.
The search is not over
But the search for Hady hasn’t stopped. His family and friends are going to the site where his belongings were first found and will search the whole area themselves.
Hady’s cousin also told us that on Sunday the search party will be sending infrared drones to try to find him.
Help from anyone who is able to join them in the search is highly needed.
They will be gathering on Sunday morning in the Beit Chlela village near the Al-Kalaa Restaurant at 11 am to start the search. The village is located in the Batroun District and the river nearby is Nahr El Joz.
