In a recent development, Hezbollah has claimed responsibility for an attack on an Israeli infantry force near the Branit military base.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed the death of a reserve soldier, Staff Sgt. Omer Balva, in the attack.
The attack was reportedly in retaliation for targeting journalists and civilians near the Al-Abbad site.
