Reportedly, the recent revelations about the absence of commercial gas reserves in Lebanon’s Block 9 could trigger a surge in political and media tensions, spearheaded by Hezbollah.
Hezbollah organization’s committees believe there is a direct link between the gas fields in territories in Israel and those in Lebanon.
Consequently, they argue that the presence of gas in one area implies its existence in the other. Any tampering with this belief could reignite threats against Israel.
