Hospitals Mobilized In Lebanon At The Rise Of Cholera Cases

The number of cholera cases in Lebanon rose within three days to 14. It prompted the Ministry of Health to start distributing awareness leaflets about the epidemic, in addition to mobilizing hospitals with their medical staff to confront the disease in the event of its spread.

The Ministry of Health announced that 4 cholera cases were recorded in Arsal and that all of them are in home quarantine, and their condition is stable.

Earlier, the Ministry pointed out that there are 14 cases of cholera in Lebanon, 3 of whom are in hospital, 6 cases of mild symptoms, and 5 cases that do not suffer from symptoms.

With the latest cases, the total number of cholera cases has increased to 18.
