The Israeli army announced on Saturday that it busted a smuggling operation at its Lebanon border, seizing drugs and weapons.
9kgs of drugs were seized, having an estimated value of 350,000 shekels, or 109,000 USD. Two pistols were also seized.
The Israeli army spokesman, Avichay Adraee, said that there is an investigation to find the head of the operation and to see if they were aided by Hezbollah.
This isn’t the first smuggling operation done from Lebanon into Israel. Back in July, 43 pistols were seized in a similar smuggling operation.
The Israeli army suspects these operations were aided by Hezbollah.
