Lebanese Information Minister Just Honored Journalists & Media Activists In North Lebanon

On Wednesday, Caretaker Minister Of Information, Ziad Al-Makary, honored North Lebanon journalists and media activists during a ceremony at the Grand Projects Hall in Tripoli.

He announced the Ministry’s initiative to restore Tripoli’s image and integrate it into the country’s media plan.

“This city possesses huge wealth that should be utilized in the field of media and television production.”

According to the state-run NNA, the Minister also restated that his ministry’s will “to move forward with the developments of Tele Liban, Radio Lebanon, and all the other state media institutions to become pioneers in their field.”

Tripoli is known as one of Lebanon’s most marginalized regions, heavily impacted by the economic crisis and the epicenter of incidents in the country.
