The investigation and interrogation of William Noun had only just begun, almost 12 hours after his arrest, according to MTV.
Earlier today, William Noun‘s family house was raided by authorities and he’s been detained ever since. He’s currently being held at the State Security in Ramlet el Bayda where protests are growing.
Protests erupted across the country over the news of his detention with roads and highways blocked in Saifi, Byblos, and Batroun.
Protests have been escalating the last few days over frustrations of stalemate and attempted obstruction of the investigation.
Yesterday, William Noun called Lebanese judges “too weak” and demanded the investigation into the Beirut Port Blast be international.
