Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian arrived in Lebanon Thursday night, according to Al-Jadeed.
He’s expected to meet with Lebanese officials during his visit but it’s not clear which of them yet.
The Iranian Regime has been battling a months-long uprising across Iran following the death of Mahsa Amini while under custody for “improperly” wearing her hijab.
Iranian people are demanding the fall of the regime as it continues to violently crack down on Iranian citizens. Hundreds, mostly children, have been killed, and tens of thousands arrested including high-profile people who spoke out against them.
Political prisoners are reporting being tortured and raped. Several had their families called with a location where their relative was buried after going missing following their arrest. Several showing marks of torture and rape.
The Iranian regime has begun publicly executing political prisoners.
Hezbollah, the Iranian-backed militia and political party in Lebanon, has attempted to discredit the uprising in Irian, calling it a “plot” against the regime.
