ISF Arrested A Gang For Stealing And Selling Over 50 Motorbikes In Lebanon

An Internal Security Forces (ISF) policeman was found dead in a car on Tuesday.

On Friday, the Internal Security Forces (ISF) in Lebanon announced the arrest of 3 members of a gang that stole over 50 motorbikes.

The ISF revealed that, after multiple reports of stolen motorbikes in Beirut and Mount Lebanon, they were able to identify the members from videos circulating on social media:

  • Y.K. (1995, not registered) and G.K. (1995, not registered) were arrested in Aley and were in possession of 2 stolen motorbikes.
  • A.A. (1985, Syrian) was arrested in Bhamdoun, where the ISF found parts of stolen motorbikes in his home.

During their interrogations, the first two suspects admitted to taking drugs and the three confessed to being part of a gang that stole over 50 motorcycles and sold them for a sum that ranged between 4 and 6 million LBP.

The theft operations occurred in these areas: Khalde, Naameh, Damour, Choueifat, Hamra, Ain Al Mraiseh, and Ramlet Al-Baida.

The legal requirement was carried out against them.
