On Tuesday, the Directorate General of the Internal Security Forces (ISF) announced that 5.1 kg of Marijuana, intended to be smuggled to Europe inside a surfboard, have been seized in Dbayeh, Metn, on Tuesday, July 5th.
Two suspected traffickers, both of Lebanese nationality, were arrested the next day by the Anti-Narcotics Office.
L.S (1977) was caught in Keserwan, while S.S (1992) was busted in Beirut possessing 1.6kg of cannabis, cocaine, and an automatic weapon.
The ISF added that the investigation under the supervision of the pertinent judiciary is still ongoing to find all those involved in this activity.
