The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Defense Ministry have announced plans to evacuate civilians living up to two kilometers from the Lebanese border.
This move comes in response to recent rocket and missile attacks by Hezbollah and allied Palestinian factions. The National Emergency Management Authority (NEMA) stated that the evacuees would be relocated to state-funded guesthouses.
The IDF has informed local authorities about the upcoming implementation of the evacuation plan. Many residents have reportedly already left due to escalating attacks.
