Israel has reportedly used phosphorus shells on the border towns of Houla and Mays al-Jabal in Lebanon. The information was confirmed by an MTV correspondent.
Phosphorus shells are highly controversial and their use in populated areas is restricted under international law. No casualties have been reported.
