The explosion at the Port of Beirut in Lebanon has left over 50 killed and 2700 injured, many still missing, and major material damages in the capital.
A lot of countries announced that they stand with Lebanon and its people, and have offered to send help. Among these countries are the US, France, Iran, etc.
And among them came, surprisingly, Israel’s offer to lend Lebanon humanitarian/medical assistance.
In a post shared online, Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said: “Under the guidance of the Israel_MOD and IsraelMFA, Israel has offered to send humanitarian & medical assistance to Lebanon via security and international channels. This is the time to transcend conflict.”
