The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that several of its military posts along the Lebanese border were targeted by gunfire.
In response, the IDF initiated artillery shelling aimed at the sources of the gunfire in southern Lebanon.
This incident follows a series of recent clashes between Hezbollah and Israel at the northern border, most of which have been claimed by Hezbollah. No immediate casualties were reported by the IDF.
