Dozens of protesters from Lebanon marched across the southern border between Lebanon and Israel, in a show of solidarity with Palestine.
According to local media, protesters broke through the fence border and set fire to land across the border.
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) responded by firing warning shots and flash grenades towards the Lebanese border and called on residents of settlements near the border to stay indoors.
Some reports say that the protesters on the Lebanese side have retreated and at least one injury was reported among them.
Protesters in Jordan attempted to do the same on their side of the border but were pushed back by police.
