On December 22, Israel decided that it is acceptable to violate Lebanon’s land and airspace! The Israeli army fired missiles into Syria launched from Sidon, a city in the south of Lebanon.
LBCI reported that Elias Bou Saab, the caretaker Defense Minister, asked the international community to intervene, stating that these violations of Lebanon’s sovereignty are very dangerous and must stop.
He stated in a tweet, “I read the report of the Lebanese army on the Israeli aggressive violations of the Lebanese airspace yesterday, which targeted Syria through the Lebanese airspace. This flagrant attack is condemned and rebuked and I call on the international community to intervene to prevent these repeated attacks on Lebanese sovereignty and to assess the extent of its gravity.”
