Lebanon’s state-run news agency NNA is reporting that the Israeli army crossed the border into Lebanon to steal cows on Sunday.
About 15 Israeli troops reportedly opened the border gate facing Al-Wazzani in South Lebanon, surveyed the area, and seized 7 cows before leaving.
The news is so random that people reacted in a humorous way after hearing it.
Independent journalist Luna Safwan made the hashtag “#freethecows” while Lebanese University student Hadi Salloum jokingly pleaded, “We need our 7 cows.”
This happens the day after the Israeli army attempted to kidnap a second shepherd along the southern Lebanese border, the brother of the shepherd who was kidnapped and released 2 weeks ago.
